Most ankylosaurs (armoured dinosaurs) from the early Cretaceous period had large bony shields fused together, completely covering their back and sides to protect them. Some had additional spines and spikes to offer further defence from would be predators.

Minmi doesn’t have any of that, he’s soft. Like a squishmallow. He’s also imaginary, and is only visible, audible, tangible (and occasionally odorous) to Wallis. Wallis is 12. She just found out she’s autistic. Tomorrow is the beginning of the rest of her life.
