Shrewtube is a very silly, fast paced kids’ comedy sitcom about Kit, a small shrew with a big microphone, a gazillion story ideas, and two utterly useless sidekicks - Pogo, a delightfully enthusiastic rhino beetle, and Susan, a goo blob of unknown origin.
Each episode, she interviews a new creature from her tiny world - a field mouse called Clarence who writes poetry, a LEGO block called Anna who’s decided to go solo, and a half eaten custard cream called Daryl who’s just happy to be there.
Collaboration
Tiernan Douieb is a writer and comedian from London, England. As well as writing on shows like Hey Duggee and Stan & Gran, Tiernan has co-run the Comedy Club 4 Kids for over a decade, performing stand-up comedy for children aged 6+ and their families. He also writes and presents multiple kids’ comedy podcasts including the award-winning Bust or Trust and Radio Nonsense. In his stand-up for adults, he has performed comedy all over the world, working with and writing for acts such as Frankie Boyle and Sarah Millican.
Aidan & Colm met Tiernan at CMC some years back, and the trio bonded over their mutual love of sketch shows, news parody formats like Round The Bend and The Day Today, and crisps.
